Welcome to the 5th season of the UFFL Survivor Challenge! 18 rounds - Standard Performance Scoring, but this is no ordinary league. The league will play out through the season in a "Survivor" format. What does that mean? Have a lowscore one week and you are gone. Have a high score one week and you get immunity. Survivor rules.

This year's Challenge will include a Draft Masters League as well as the Survivor League. Two leagues in one! The draft will be conducted at Xpert Sports. Owners new to the site will have to register (it's free) and join the "UFFL Draft Master" league, password: football1. The draft will start on August 14th at 12:00 PM EDT. The draft will consist of 20 rounds but only the first 18 players you draft, will go on your Survivor team. The time limit between picks is 12 hours for the first round, 8 hours for rounds 2-4, and 6 hours for rounds 5-20. The draft will be suspended from 3 AM - 5 AM EDT for the first round, 2 AM - 6 AM EDT for rounds 2-4, and 1 AM - 7 AM for rounds 5-20. Don't forget to pre-draft, especially if there's a chance you're going to miss your pick. Draft Master rules.

We have eight returning owners to include last years' champions from UFFL II, UFFL III, and UFFL IV. Last year's Survivor Champion was Wah-Nee Pride and Jeff Lazar. Click here, 2005 Survivor Challenge, for last years' results.

Draft Masters Rules:

  • What is a Draft Master league?
Draft Master leagues originated within the WCOFF, as a "draft-only" total points league that is a sister event to their main Las Vegas draft and event. Complete rules can be found here.

  • Is the Xpert Sports version the same?
No, there are some differences. Drafts are only 20 rounds long, draft timers are flexible, and instead of competing against 11 other leagues, all of our leagues compete against each other. The Xpert Sports version is also totally FREE.

  • Do I have to submit a lineup each week?
No, just like in Survivor Leagues, your optimimum lineup is submitted each week. The Draft Master lineup is as follows: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex player (a RB or WR, or TE), 1 PK, 1 Team Defense/Special team.

  • What is the scoring?
    • Passing:
Yards passing divided by 20 (e.g. 215 passing yards = 10.75 fantasy points).
4 points for every passing TD.
Minus one point (-1) for every interception thrown.
2 points for every 2-point conversion.
    • Rushing:
Yards rushing divided by 10 (e.g. 89 rushing yards = 8.9 fantasy points).
6 points for every rushing TD.
2 points for every 2-point conversion.
    • Receiving:
Yards receiving divided by 10 (e.g. 112 receiving yards = 11.2 fantasy points)
6 points for every receiving TD.
      1 point for every catch.
2 points for every 2-point conversion.
    • All Other TDs:
6 points for any TD scored by recovered or returned fumbles, laterals, or any other means by which a skill position player (QB, RB, WR, TE, or K) is awarded an individual TD, except kickoff and punt returns. No rushing or receiving yardage is awarded for a TD returned on a fumble.
    • Placekicking:
1 point for every Extra Point
3 points for every FG of 1 – 39 yards
4 points for every FG of 40 – 49 yards
5 points for every FG of 50+ yards
    • Team Scoring (Defense/Special Teams):
      1 point for every sack
2 points for every team takeaway (interception or fumble recovery)**
6 points for every TD (via interception return, fumble return, punt or kickoff return, blocked FG return, missed FG return, blocked punt return)*
      2 points for every safety
5 points for every shutout ***
      2 points for allowing between 1- 5 points ***
      1 point for allowing between 6 – 10 points ***

  • How is the winner determined?
Each league will have a winner, determined by the total points from weeks 1 through 16. Tiebreakers are as follows:
    1. Total points Weeks 13 – 16.
    2. Total points Week 16.
    3. Total quarterback points Weeks 13 – 16.
